Happy Friday! It’s been a good week over here- but did it feel long to anyone else?! Thursday almost did me in. We booked a couple of camping trips early in the week and I’m so happy to have some (isolated!) adventuring to look forward to. We’re also having a socially distanced barbeque on Saturday, and I’m ready to embrace sleeping in, relaxing with friends and all things grilled.
This guy made a crazy squirrel obstacle course to protect his bird feeder! There’s a surprisingly enjoyable mini physics lesson buried in there, too.
A baby koala was born this week- one of the first after the Australian wildfires.
On Wednesday, SpaceX had planned to launch the first manned space flight by a private company. The launch was scrubbed due to weather, but you can watch them try again on Saturday! I loved learning about the astronauts, Bob and Doug, who are 1000x braver than I’ll ever be!
Cutest thing I’ve seen all week.
I’ve brought my work water bottle home, since I spend more time here these days, and oddly have gotten a few compliments from my mom and my patients, who all saw it on various video calls this week! They don’t have my colour (a white-speckled lavender) but I like the bright white, too.
One of my running besties told me about this natural deodorant she’s trying- apparently the coconut scent is her favourite so far! Would you try it?
Last weekend we managed to put our brains together and complete this miracle sudoku– it took us an hour of focusing on it, but was so satisfying to finish!
See you Monday! xo
